SkyHook Cranes and Pro Solutions Air Team Up for a Rooftop Lift

When you live in the West Valley, a functioning AC unit isn’t a luxury—it’s an absolute necessity. But what happens when a massive commercial rooftop package unit needs to be replaced, or a new residential system needs to make the leap onto a high roof?

You call in the heavy lifters.

Recently, the SkyHook Cranes team headed out to partner with one of the valley’s premier multi-trade companies, Pro Solutions Air. They needed a reliable crane partner to handle a precision HVAC lift, and we were more than ready to roll out the big rigs.

The Challenge: Heavy Iron, Perfect Precision

Rooftop HVAC package units are incredibly heavy, awkward to maneuver, and require absolute precision to set down perfectly on a curb without damaging the roof structure. For a top-tier team like Pro Solutions Air, keeping a job on schedule means they need a crane company that shows up on time, positions safely, and executes the pick without a hitch.

At SkyHook, we always say we bring small business values with a big business approach. That means we treat local contractors like family, but we bring the absolute highest safety standards and machinery to the job site.

The Execution: How the Lift Went Down

Our step-by-step process keeps things simple and safe on every job site:

  1. The Setup & Safety Check: Before any cables are hooked up, our operators survey the ground, check for overhead utility lines, and ensure the crane is perfectly stabilized. Safety isn’t just a buzzword for us; it’s our foundational rule.
  2. The Old Unit Removal: We carefully rigged and lifted the old, decommissioned HVAC unit off the roof, lowering it smoothly to the ground so the Pro Solutions team could prep the area.
  3. The Final Set: With the roof curb ready, we rigged up the brand-new, high-efficiency system. With clear communication and steady hands at the controls, we lifted it high, swung it into position, and set it down precisely on the money.

Thanks to the rock-solid teamwork between our crane operator and the Pro Solutions Air crew on the roof, the entire lift was completed quickly, safely, and efficiently.

Why Multi-Trade Experts Trust SkyHook

Whether it’s a tight residential neighborhood or a sprawling commercial property, local HVAC experts, builders, and landscapers trust SkyHook Cranes because we take the guesswork out of heavy lifting. From commercial AC packages to backyard swim spas and storage sheds, if it’s heavy, we lift it!

It was a pleasure working alongside the pros at Pro Solutions Air to keep Valley residents cool and comfortable. We look forward to the next pick!
